I can bare the pain now! Made up my mind!
Come! Official WD, injury or whatever!
No announcement yet as of 2:10 ET. :P
Isn't USFS HQ on the west coast? So a WD announcement may not come until late afternoon/early evening EST.
ETA: Well, I guess it never came. Do they announce stuff on weekends? Still wouldn't be surprised to hear a last-second WD come Monday or Tuesday. Or maybe she'll even show up at the event (to make the ticket folks happy) and then WD mid-competition.

Eight days...
At this point I'm resigned to a no-show and can only be positively surprised if she decides to compete after all.
Thank God for Shen and Zhao though because otherwise I would be pretty annoyed about that expensive trip to the Far North.
Very surprised that there hasn't been any real update on her injuries since she withdrew from TEB.
Like other posters here, I will be even more surprised if she does show up at SA.
Seven days and she's still in as far as we know.
I will NOT get my hopes up, I will NOT get my hopes up, I will NOT get my hopes up.....
Well you guys are carrying on here, aren't you? Sasha will not call a news conference with 50 reporters from 20 nations to make a grand announcement that she WILL show up at SA.
Just sit back, crack open a beer and relax. She will be there.
You'd think by now the rumors have trickled to TPTB and someone would make an announcement one way or another. Maybe they are hoping it boosts interest???
Recent interview with Cohen:

Too true.
Six days. It's almost time to start packing! I wonder how early she will get up to LP.
Not that I'm getting my hopes up.
I have to say, I admire Sasha's courage if she does go through with it. She is risking a lot of ridicule and abuse if she falls short.
Thanks so much for the link! No hint of a drop out there ... I for one believe her when she says she misses the drive and the challenge and that's why she's back.
So, she's back with John Nicks. Well, good. He seems to believe in her so much.
