I'm so happy for Javier's LP and I'd love to see a vid of it... let's hope for a home-video or sth.
He fell in the quad, but the rest of the program was pretty clean![]()

Wow Javier!! He certainly lept to a great result!
I'm curious about the ladies long now!
I managed to track down the ladies' results. Ksenia Makarova won both segments of the competition - she landed the 3-3 in the long and finished more than twelve points in front. Valentina Marchei was second in the LP and moved up to second overall, and Haruka Imai won the bronze.

Thank you Buttercup, you are a star....
As for the results, surely Makarova has made a strong statement by landing 3t+3t, and a very good one too. She does do 5 jumps back to back in the beginning. Very happy for the young russian, if she can skate like this she may medal at JGPFs (bronze medal possibly behind Murakami and Shelepen)
And i found this on Youtube

She is bit Juniorish, has a highly telegraphed entrance into each jump and her flying spins not fly much. But he is much more consistent than at the JGPs. if she can back this up with a very strong performance at JGPFs she will surely make the euro team.

Thank you very much for the links!
I think Ksenia has all the chances to go to the Euros first (Russia has 3 spots there) and then, if she will skate well, to the Olympics too. Doronina, Gerboldt and Goseva didn't skate well so far this season, so if Ksenia will do well at Nationals she could beat them. Good luck for her!
