Bummer- I looked back at last year's NHK IN page and the Compulsory Dances never got posted because the Japanese outlet didn't broadcast it. If it doesn't get broadcast by the home country there's no feed to stream to other countries period.

That's too bad. Don't the Japanese know that ice skating fans like watching CDs? If we're going to protest, we should send protests their way since they control what gets seen at NHKs in the future not IceNetwork.

Added bummer- just looked at ISU results and it looks like Summersett and Gilles didn't get scored well at all- currently, they're in last place. :(

If they have had problems in the past IN should have worked to make sure it was resolved for this year BEFORE advertising the CD would be live.

Some of the posts here are just so off base they are laughable... So IceNetwork is deliberately lying, using false advertising to the very folks it wants to gain as viewers on a regular basis? ROFLMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Right... that's how to become successful in business! OMG! Great thinking!

it's also laughable that people would just blindly believe that at the very last minute this whole thing was pulled. they had to have had at least a few hours notice, and it's not THAT hard to update a dang website/schedule. (it's also hard to believe some posts when it's known that they are one of the street crew types... ;) I'm just saying)

and considering other weird ideas the USFSA has had with the people it supposedly wants to keep in the seats it would not surprise me.

Bobrova/Soloviev hold second place behind the Kerrs and ahead of Crone/Poirier. I'm glad- I think they usually have beautiful CDs with their long leg lines and clean movement.

Crone/Poirier while fresh and young and very athletic don't have nearly enough polish yet.

Perhaps you have a different idea of how quality customer service is supposed to work than the rest of us, but speaking someone who works in customer service and retail, the first rule is to never make promises to the customer you can't keep, even if you are the middle man.

As rightly pointed out by another poster, the fact that the Japanese did this last year should have been ample warning to the IN schedulers to check their facts BEFORE posted a schedule to customers. In addition, they should have made their caveats about schedule changes clearer to give increased warning of this type of situation.

The middle man bears as much responsibility for the quality of service as the supplier, perhaps more given that we are paying them and not the Japanese broadcasters.

It may not be that they lied per se, it could be that they were just too lazy to take steps to notify their subscribers of the change. Either way, it's no excuse for providing a service at such low quality, when they're charging users!

Being successful in business means providing customers with the quality they paid for!

Great start for Meryl and Charlie. I only wish we had been able to watch them skate!!

IN had better get their ducks in a row so that this does not happen next year!

so if I did the math right pairs should be on in 5 minutes? or did they get chacked at the last minute, too?
