The music that precedes Ieva's Polka (recorded by Loituma) is Veli (translated as "Brother" on the Northside CD). Veli was recorded by Hedningarna on their Karelian Visa CD.

Thanks for the correction. It sounded a lot to me like what they had in 2007, which was Lehti and Ieva's Polka, according to their ISU bio that year.

    It's "Kathak", not "Carthak".

Jane & Todd did good, but I have to admit I'm not really into their dance. I think they would do much better with a different type of music. JMHO.

    Good job.

Summersett/Gilles: VERY wonky sound. Can't tell the problem. Shaky, tentative performance. Sorta boring. Didn't feel folk to me, but truthfully, very few of these ODs do.

    39.16. Into first.

Hann-McCurdey/Coreno: Frivolous. Twizzles oddly mismatched (the second set - they just looked different from each other - her arms were much closer together). Sound still wonky. Is it my computer or skatebuzz? Boring step sequence. Fun lifts. Costumes spirited if lame. They enjoyed themselves, at least. He looks like he stepped out of a Rembrandt painting.
