I have a question for you if you ever check back here.

Do you think it's fair when a superfilly like Rachel Alexandra is touted as being "just as good" or "better" as some of the colts she races against, but still is allowed to carry less weight?

Because I don't, and I find it mildly annoying. What's your take on it?

Fillies are usually given less weight, but it's like the difference between us carrying a can of Coke or not. Rachel Alexandra and Zenyatta, who won the Breeders' Cup Classic, are easily better than the colts or fillies this year.
