costumes aside I really like this OD
This brazilian does not know how N/B's costumes are brazilian (or folk BTW)
Navarro/Bommentre: There's a huge difference between the two flights and you can tell already. Well skated, but I don't like this program. I missed the second step sequence.
Scores: 51.28/81.47, 1st/1st
I don't know...she can be Iemanja maybe (just cuz he is in blue haha) I really doon't et this dance
Z&Z:
Not sure about the music arrangement. Their twizzles seemed ok, just a bit slow.
I mean, there are a lot of folk dances in Brazil. That was not one.
I would particulaly like to see something from the June Festivities. (but let's not kick a dead horse)
Zaretskis: Cool lift. Solid first half, but the music cried out for something bigger in the second half. Liked the costumes - in character without being eyesores.
Scores: 51.90/83.83, 1st/1st
No toque blanche this time![]()
yeah well the Kerrs' Folk Dance didn't look anything like a country western dance I know... so take it for what you will
Cappellini/Lanotte: Cute, fun. Too long a wait in the beginning before they start skating. The lift needs refining. My feed froze a couple times so I didn't get a full feel for the program.
Scores: 54.09/86.13, 1st/1st
Loved C/L so far. Well deserved score.
Zaretskys were blah.
I liked the Zaretskis (the first program i caught today). Charming, i found I didn't care about the tech weakness.
C/L - enjoyable, but there is something boyish about him, his style, and the way he presents her (or doesn't). This puts me off them a bit as a top contending team. Their skating skills seem good and smooth enough, but still something falls short. Lifts very sloppy and reeked of effort. But they are still enjoyable and engaging overall
