Blanc/Loup Bouquet: Fun program. Cool music that I now want to own. He looks great in that outfit. Lift was a little wobbly, I thought. And did her skate get caught on her dress in the closing pose? No matter.

Score: 42.66/67.05, 1st/1st

crowd seems really dead... and I personally want to slap the dorks that keep using their flashes! seriously, you don't need the flash in this arena setting, people!

Mallory/Rand: Estonian Folk, but it sounds like generic folk to me (though I wouldn't know Estonian folk if it hit me with a shovel, so take that with a grain of salt). They were having fun, but my feed froze a couple times so I don't feel like I can judge fairly. She's a cutey and very joyful.

"No Flash photography" - sigh. They did warn people in the beginning. If you don't know how to turn your flash off, don't use it.

Scores: 44.58/71.47, 1st/1st

Agree on the dead crowd bit.

Yu/Wang: They definitely have some command of the ice and more complexity than the first two teams. Cool-timing on the lift. Love the segue into "Lovers" (the song from HoFD); though the next bit didn't work nearly as well (though in fairness, it references the coolest scene in the movie). Favourite program thus far.

Scores: 44.15/71.58, 2nd/1st

Does any one know why IN has commentators today? It made me realize how much more enjoyable skating is without them.

Chock/Zurlein: He needs color for his costume. I didn't get Afro-Cuban from it. She has pizazz. Wobble in the N-steps sequence. Didn't like the ending. He really does disappear from portions of the program (and during the long shot in the twizzle sequence, he seems invisible.)

Scores: 44.55/73.43, 2nd/1st

I'll take it a step further, if you don't know the proper use of a flash don't use it until you do, your pictures will look crappy 9/10 until you do anyway!
