Kemp/King: My feed spazzed during the jumps, so but there were no falls as I could see. Cool entry into second lift. Pretty but a bit boring overall, though they seem pleased. My feed was way too bumpy, though. Weak throw twist. She nearly two-footed a throw (she nicked her skate, but held onto the landing).

Scores: 87.34/130.80, 1st/1st

Castille/Okolski: Errors, both major and minor. Couple falls, botched jump sequence, hand down on SBS triples, SBS spins out of sync. Today seems to be the worst day for the feed. Their coach is being really harsh in the KnC, it seems (they made errors, but announcing that "they gave away 18 points this weekend" when they're trying to find the positives seems like a boneheaded maneuver.)

Scores: 90.06/139.58, 1st/1st

I wish for Brooke and Ben a good Nationals where they can do justice to their beautiful and elegant SP and LP!!

Such beautifully constructed programs.

Evora/Ladwig: Couple of mistakes, but they should be proud of that skate. Big music but they skated to it well. Fall on the SBS jumps. Liked the transitions. Cute in KnC trying to guess the GOEs (1... 0...0)

Scores: 98.19 ("gettin' close)/148.33, 1st/1st

I like Evora and Ladwig. If only Amanda can get the sbs jumps, they could really score well. I find them nicely synchronous, and aesthetically pleasing, and one of their dismounts was gorgeous.
