Hello, everyone. I found this forum while browsing. The Redskins have a bye tomorrow, so I will be watching Skate America without doing any VCR timeshifting of anything.

My user name has a double meaning. I am a retired military bandsman, and as such I have spent the past 42 years continually learning to play the French horn, a beautiful though sometimes exasperating instrument. In addition I have a high regard for C. S. Forester, author of the famous Horatio Hornblower stories.

French Horn is a wonderful instrument... as a fellow brass player I have a huge amount of respect for anyone who takes up that instrument... it's a difficult one to play!
