    JGPF - Junior Men

Starts at 18:30 local time/9:30 GMT.

    Starting Order
    Warm-Up Group 1
    1 Grant HOCHSTEIN USA
    2 Richard DORNBUSH USA
    3 Stanislav KOVALEV RUS
    4 Kento NAKAMURA JPN

    Warm-Up Group 2
    5 Artur GACHINSKI RUS
    6 Nan SONG CHN
    7 Ross MINER USA
    8 Yuzuru HANYU JPN

Fun fact: Yuzuru Hanyu, the top qualifier, turns 15 next week and is the youngest skater in this field by more than a year. If I'm not mistaken, he's one of only three skaters to score over 200 as a junior (the other two being Adam Rippon and Michal Brezina). I think Hanyu is wonderful and hope he skates really well on home ice... but good luck to everyone, of course

I know I'm jumping the gun but would Nan Song be China's first man to win a singles JGPF? Way to go in the SP!

    (Is Nan his first name?)

I'm very very excited to see Yuzuru here!! He'sgot the beginnings of a great "total package" in my opinion. Great jumps, great spins, great artistry I also can't wait to see Ross Miner--he's a great performer.

I believe Nan is the first name. I know him as Song and I was very impressed with him in another competition. I would have no objection if he were to win here.

Actually he would be the third. Song Gao and Xiaodong Ma were Junior Grand Prix Champions on the 1999-2000 and 2000-2001 seasons respectively. Unfortunately nothing much happened with those two after that, although Song Gao was still competing until last season.
