I'm just gonna wait for protocols and massive clips of Yuna's 3T the Korean fans will be analyzing to death
Whatever she was judging, I don't think you should make fun of her name, she has a perfectly normal swiss name and decided to keep her maiden name as well.
And figurejennah, can you stop your inference to an underlying scheme? By your logic the person that gave Yuna a +1 GOE for her first combo at SA in the LP would have to be a Korean judge, right? I'm being sarcastic, but, sigh- I want to enjoy a competition where there isn't any nationalistic conspiracy theories. Yuna's 3-3 looked clean to me, but her top portion of the blade did catch a bit & so can it possibly be that the tech caller simply made a mistake?
What about a whopping DG for +1.6 GOE jump?

I hope Kim can demonstrate her mental and skating calibre by rebounding in the LP. It's what the great champions do.
It's quite ridiculous that there are no replays for jumps to see for underrotations, clean landings or cheated landings. In a sport that has seen its judges be involved in cheating and conspiracy, it's a wonder why steps have not been taken to ensure that it is as clean as possible.
Huh?? The controllers can watch the video over and over after the performance to look for downgrades and edge calls. That's why the marks take so long sometimes.

I am not being nationalistic here, I am from the states........??
I am sorry, but to be honest, I really cannot accept this downgrade with her 3T. Seriously, first her step, then her 3F, and now 3T. Now what?(And if it's that one/two same people who are giving these problems, then I will be bitter...... lol)
And, Ando got positive GOE for her 3-2 (which was supposed to be 3-3). BAH...??
LOL. Perhaps. Come on, everyone knows that Yuna did not deserve
level 1 on her step sequence. Until that "e"' call, Yuna always received positive GOE on her flip, and now her 3T is UR. What's next? Yuna's 2A is UR???
Too bad about Wagner
but holy crap, Yuna in SECOND???
One mistake and she's with the rest of the pack...oh man, Olys may be not be the blowout we all think it will be...
Anyway, this does make the FS more exciting.
No, but making a (baseless) claim that the technical specialist must be Japanese and hating on Yu-Na just because it was a close call you disagree with is a bit...unfair, no?
And why shouldn't Miki get positive GoE on her 3-2, if that's what she did well? Was it really supposed to be a 3-3?
I would also love to see that, but I have this gut feeling that it won't happen. Too much has been getting at her lately. The confidence she had exuded earlier on in the competitive season has ebbed away, and I can't help but wonder why. The only factor I can actually point to is pressure -- Olympic season pressure, pressure from fans, a nation's OGM hinging on her every jump, the stupid media that never leaves her alone, the 3F that's getting at her lately.
I think it would be better for her to take this bitter pill with stoicism. Lose a game for once before heading to the Olympic Games. It's a great experience -- a humbling one (but I've never considered her arrogant, of course ) and one that will get some pressure off. Orser himself said that Kim thrives off of loss. She's a tough competitor, all right, and a loss will empower her, like the 2008 GPF had done a year ago. But OF COURSE I would love to see her rebound like the champion she is!!
Well, it's not a baseless claim since it's the same technical caller who gave her "e"' gave her downgrade today. Also, the lovely lady Junko was there and she did give her level 1.
And yes, Miki was supposed to do 3-3. If you can watch her again, please do so. You can see her lose her balance and slip out a little.
