I'm old enough to remember Terry Fox. He was an amazing person, and a superior athlete in a way that few could (or would want to) emulate, and I remember crying when I read of his death. (By the way, lest Canadians think that the U.S. doesn't notice them, I recall clearly the headline of Fox's obituary in one major American newspaper; it was entitled simply "Terry Fox, Canadian Hero.") I'm so glad his name still carries such weight. How great if his mother gets to light the flame. Keep us posted!
