Thanks hsuh for the heads-up!
Wow :rolleye: at Tuktami's score! What does "B" stand for in the results table, acquiring a bonus point or something? Whatever that is, still very very impressive. Agafonova beat her in TES in the short, but she looked a bit tentative in the LP. She did a nice pearl spin a la Zhang/Nagasu. Tuktami was on throughout her LP. I noticed she did a Tano 2A in SP and another Tano 2A as part of a jump sequence in the LP, interesting. She seems to be such a total package, Shelepen has some work to do. By the way I love that there are two different homevideos of her LP shot from the opposite sides of the rink.

And Radionova wins the junior, congrats! By the way thanks Lucky Star for informing me of this competition  And Medvedeva that you talked about in the jgpf thread came in second, both are ones to watch in the near future.

By the way, since I have a hard time decyphering Cyrilic letters I want to ask hsuh or anyone who can read them well, those videos on youtube by kat3sha and DariaSergeyeva are only those of senior ladies and no juniors, correct?

Yes, B stands for bonus points. Liza received 2 points bonus in her sp for doing lutz and flip without edge call and for not getting deduction in the execution side. She would have received 3 more bonus, if she had landed her intended 3t instead of doubling them..

Liza looked like lot older with her hair do and costume; plus, she defiantly is improving artistically. can't wait to she these baby wonders from russia turning seniors.

Well, I'll try to make it clear. First of all, "B" is bonus points, girls have 2 points for clean 3Lz and 3F in one program (with positive or 0 GOE and without edge calls) and 3 points for clean 3-3.
And no, there not only senior ladies on youtube, but juniors too.

Seniors:

Thanks life684 and Lucky Star for clarifying the B criteria and thanks Lucky Star for the two juniors' links, I'm off to watch them now. :)

ETA: Oops, I forgot to remember P in Cyrillic alphabet = R in Roman alphabet, I should have guessed Radionova's video title fine. :)

ARGGHHH! We need to get rid of the age rule! The girls will still do the jumps (and my, they do them well!) Tuktamysheva (sorry, can't spell) is just wonderful. Maybe needs a little more speed. But she is a star. Would be a shame if puberty does her in. Right now, she is one of the best in the world. This is so frustrating.

I truly believe that if you're good, you're good, and your age shouldn't keep you from beating the 19 and 20 year olds.

Thanks for the posts.

I adore Tuktamysheva's SP. It hadn't really worked for me before, but this performance was gorgeous, even if she didn't do her 3-3.
