Some actual footages of Yuna in LA from a Japanese Tv show?!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gyNchNWehg

How in the world they managed to go inside and video taped her?

Someone at FSU who frequents the East West Ice Palace said that there was a Japanese TV Station constantly trying to videotape her and they got kicked out of the rink so they set up shop across the street, hence the vague video shots of her entering/leaving...:laugh:
It's oddly obsessive... :rolleye:

Look at Yuna's fashion sense!

Yuna is Best Dressed 2010 by Toryburch.

Amazing girl.

Whoa... that's really cool actually to be recognized by a designer! :D Gotta say, Yu-na is one of the few figure skaters I can depend on to at least step on the ice decently dressed lols. Of course, considering her looks, that's not that difficult either :3

... oh dear me, I hope I didn't jinx it for Worlds!

Yuna said on her latest interview with SBS Korea that her LP (Homage to Korea, Arirang) she will be focusing on the step sequence, by far different from previous programs. And her SP is sad, lovely and yet charismatic.

Oh my goodness, I am salivating over the possibility of some good Korean folk dancing forms for Arirang. It would be totally unique and new for figure skating. Risky as hell, but if it get paid off, it would be better than just another medal.

Actually knowing what I know about Korean/Asian traditional dancing forms, compare to ballet, they couldn't be more different. They makes incredible contrast both to perform and to watch. Folk dancing were derived from ritualistic social celebrations of the past, and it would be quite lovely to consider her WC performance as a celebration of her past, her roots as oppose to just another skating competition .

May be she want to upgrade the step sequences to level4 - one of the few areas she can improve on?

Yonhap Korea

Yuna Kim "Goal is to perform as my ideals, with ease”

[Seoul, Yonhap News by Kim Young-Hyun] ‘Figure Queen’ Yuna Kim is preparing for the World Figure Skating Championships that will be held in March. “Now my goal is to perform the program, which I have in my mind as an ideal, with ease. That goal is my motivation, that is what fires me up,” Kim said.

“Up until now I thought too much about the results and that was a burden on my performance. Now I want skate with more freedom and ease, while connecting the audience,” said Kim on Jan. 4 through her management company All That Sports.

Not a news but have you seen this?
A clip from Jr.Worlds EX Gala Finale, Mar 11, 2006.

Yuna was the champion. The more willowy version of THE olympic champion. Her movement is natural, musical and spins are fast.
Kozuka was gold? Anyway, he is SO cute. This young Kozuka makes me laugh.
O, Meryl/Charlie and Tessa/Scott are here. Scott is playful.

The Japanese commentators are saying, "Exciting to see how much the junior skaters will succeed though all these young ones will not be very successful ... some skaters bloom very early and some later. Let's wait and see." Indeed.:agree:

I still can't believe a future figure skating champion was born and grew in a country like Korea. But come to think of it, few people have thought that Korea would have long track speed skating champions (not short track!) like this trio.

Lee Seunhoon, Lee Sanghwa and Mo Taebum (all of them are gold medalists at Vancouver) exchanged mails with Yuna, encouraging each other.
