According to AGB Yuna's appearance on Knee Drop Guru last night recorded the highest ratings for the last 4 years. There's a part 2 next week. ;)

Yuna made it very clear that she will not be involved in entertainment business (debut as a singer, actress, etc.) even if she retires. I don't think Yuna wants (or needs) more attention than she already has.
Right now it appears as though she is involved a lot with all those numerous CMs, but only becacuse her agency had been putting those off after olympics.
BTW, thanks for the link to the documentary below. It was very nice to see.

I'm aware with that. But just imagine the possibility!

Anyway..from Universal Sports..

Queen Yu-Na - pop star?

Olympic gold medalist Kim Yu-Na collaborated with boy band Big Bang for South Korea's World Cup cheer song. "Queen" Yu-Na has not decided if she will continue competing and the music video shows she may have found a new career.

HYUNDAI TO DONATE 1 MILLION DREAM BALLS TO AFRICAN CHILDREN

The first dream ball, donated by Yuna Kim, will arrive in Johannesburg on June 8 and when all million balls get delivered together with participants’ names, NGOs including UN’s affiliated organizations will distribute them to 50 countries in Africa.

“I’m so delighted to participate in Hyundai’s ‘1 Million Dream Balls for Africa’ project as the first donor and wish the balls help all African children grow up to lead the future of their beautiful countries and the rest of the world,” said the ladies’ figure skating gold medalist of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics, Yuna Kim, while personally signing a dream ball.

Yuna said in her interview before leaving for Toronto a little ago today that she won't be retiring for now and will be preparing for next season with new competition programs. While training in Toronto she will see if her mind and physical condition is really up for another competition and make her final decision before October.

Sorry it is in Korean:

The news is breaking on all of the various forums.

I'm so glad that she still has the desire to skate competitively. It would have been a huge waste of talent to retire so early. Next season with a recharged Yuna, a hungry Mao, a chomping at the bit Mirai, and maybe half a dozen up and comers, it's going to be a great season! :)

Yeap. It looks like Yuna is very likely to continue to compete for at least one more season!

This is a wonderful day for both Yuna fans and figure skating.

LONG LIVE THE QUEEN!!!

Yuna said that she will continue but it will depend on her training in Toronto whether she will find another motivation and fire to compete. Also she said that if the new rules are set, she's willing to adapt. She said that she wants to try different programs or new characters every season for the fans. And lastly she said that she's most happy skating on the ice. ;)

Excellent news. Thank you for letting us know. I had a hunch she would not retire. I am looking forward to her new programs!

Agreed.

I'm so glad about the news. As a FS fan I wished so much seeing her in next seasons with new innovative programms.
She has lots of potential that she didnt showed us yet. Although it's not definetly, I am very optimistic. Then Yu-Na loves FS above all.

Yu-Na sounds very down to earth as she was before she won the Olympic gold medal. It's very nice to see that Olympic success hasn't spoiled her.
