I find it a bit curious that Yuna's Grand Prix spots for COR and COC are not yet taken by replacements, while spots of others like Johnny Weir are already taken. Is ISU possibly still trying to talk Yuna's side into participation?
To think of it, one of the main reasons Yuna is skipping GPs is to bolster her jumping passes... she might not try to add 3A in her repertoire but might want to add 3Lo since she can't put 3 2As any more in the long program. She should have enough time to perfect the jump before any competition.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Yuna is learning the 3A. I know it sounds crazy but strange things might happen. LOL.

Now if Yu-na can just hold on until 2018...
:agree: I think Peongyang has a good chance at this in any case. They lost the bid narrowly for 2014, the choice of Sochi coming as a surprise. Plus, it was in North America in 2010, then Europe, so there will be sentiment in favor of an Asian site.

Yuna is also reported to be making an appearance at this year’s Los Angeles Koreatown Festival, which happens during the same weekend at Seoul International Park in Koreatown.
^ I don't think the author of the article is the Philip Hersh, although the author's first name seems to be the same as that of the well known sports writer.
Isn't the article below the original text?:

Which young prodigy skaters said they learn watching Yuna perform or want to be like her when they grow up?
I once read Christina Gao's interview in which she said Yuna's performance gives her insperation. Kanako Murakami also said she wants to be a skater like Yuna (and also Mao).
