    Italy ladies have two spots at the europeans, hence both would go. i assume it would at teh europeans where they decide who will be selected to the Olympics. Valentina needs to win the national and finish higher than Carolina to have any chance to be slected for teh Olympics spot.

    I think if Valentina continues her consistency (relatively) that she has been showing lately and Carolina continues her consistent melt downs i think Italian fed may opt for Valentina (that would be a big call, considering world medals carolina have and lack of any senior GP, europeans or world medal latter lacks).

    I am happy to see Bacchini ahead of Zalenka; and contensti score looks all right. looks like all three are going to the euros (i hope they stay in that position after the LP)
