    LADIES- Japanese Nationals (Senior)

Both Ladies' SP and Mens' LP start tonight so I though it's better to separate the two events to prevent chaos

According to the time table, it starts from 13:50 Japan time- we are 17 hours ahead of you.

You might want to confirm using an online time converter

Okay, so that's 11:50 pm Eastern time today (I think). Will streaming be on Justin TV or any other online site?

I would download Keyholetv to watch this.
    go to: http://xorsyst.com/japan/keyholetv-mac-linux-windows/
and download the keyholetv new version. once you download it, click on fujitv. You should be able to watch figure skating tonight.

    Practice News

    Mao

Mao aims for ticket to OP with changes in program (yesterday's practice)
    http://www.sanspo.com/sports/news/09...1924006-n1.htm
    Changes in the SP:
    - position of takeoff in 3A (probably the first combo) - jumps with back to the judges. JFA commitee member says it should help to avoid pressure
    - quit Tano in 2nd toe - to improve quality of the second jump
    - changed approach to 3F to left-wise
    - shortened footwork rom 45 seconds down to 38 seconds
These changes were made right after the CoR and Asada says she feels much more comfortable with the revised program.

Mao in good condition (today's practice)
    http://www.sanspo.com/sports/news/09...0957007-n1.htm
Mao landed all her jumps in this morning's run-through practice.
Akiko and Yukari seems to have missed some of their jumps.

Looks like Mao's going with the costume she wore in CoR.

My mistake, the new is about Mao's SP so she only jumps the Axcel once!

If I'm not mistaken, the free skate starts in 30 minutes, right?

Oh, I'm nervous for Akiko. I hope she doesn't win, because if she does the media blitz will be crazy for her for the Olympics... but I hope she does well enough to go.

I am nervous for Nakano and Suzuki. Actually I like them equally. It would be too sad if Nakano never gets to experience the Olympic games! I feel for Suzuki as well. I wouldn't be surprised if Nakano or Suzuki wins and Mao ends up in 4th.. I don't know what the Japanese Federation would do if that happens.

Don't want to jinx my favorites, so will not watch *live* the LPs, but just wanted to say that it was a joy to watch all of them skate clean!

And I'm so glad that Mao wore what I call the "desert rose" dress, which I liked from the very beginning, and still do!

Good Luck to ALL the ladies, may your heart's desire carry you through.
