Yes, it's true! Skate America 2004 is being held at Mellon Arena (the igloo) in Pittsburgh, PA.
The Skate America 2004 web site just went up. And handout order forms were being circulated at Skate America 2003.
The website is www.mellonarena.com A copy of the order form that is supposed to be printable is there. Unfortunately, on my computer, it would not print...
The ticket office is accepting orders at 412 642 1977.
I had to call a couple times to get through, and the first time got a woman who said why don't you fax the order form. Unfortunately the fax number is not on the order form.
The second time I got a very helpful fellow who took my order.
If you have a fax, the fax number is 412 391 8454.
The arena seats at most 18,000. They are exploring the option of providing a dinner package! I thought this was a delightful idea. If enough callers express an interest, they will put it together
Prices are as follows:
VIP Gold (4 day package, includes exhibition) $157.50
Silver (4 day package, includes exhibition) $126.00
Bronze (4 day package, includes exhibition) $105.00
