I'm so excited about the men's field of Euro's.That'll be a heck of competition! I only hope Tomas can finally skate two clean programs and perform close to his potential.

I know, he's a hard skater do be a fan of. So you watch and he does the 4t and it's like woo, then he does the 3a-2t, looking good
, then another nice 3a, and then a good 3lz, and then you think he has it in the bag until.... 1S, 1F, 1Lo. Darn. Really Tomas? Seems like he always messes up the easy jumps too which makes it even more frustrating. I have gone through periods like this being a fan of Alissa Czisny as well, although recently she has been much easier to watch.
Still love his skating though!

Hey does anyone know how Sarah Meier's injury is healing? I've noticed a lot of people have been predicting a podium finish for her, but I haven't seen her skate since she withdrew from NHK. I heard she won Swiss nationals but she doesn't really have any big competition there and I didn't see these performances.
Men:
1. Stephane Lambiel
2. Brian Joubert
3. Tomas Verner
4. Evgeny Plushenko
5. Sergei Voronov

2. Laura Lepisto
3. Julia Sebestyen
4. Sarah Meier
5. Ksenia Makarova

I think people are underestimating Makarova, she did just beat Alena Leonova at nationals, and she can be counted on to land more jumps than skaters like Lepisto, Kostner, Poykio, and Sebestyen (in the LP). I think Ksenia is just great![]()
