I thought I read that Brian said he will go to Worlds because he does not want to go out on this note.

Johnny Weir is definitely going to Worlds and it's not totally official but he said he will likely skate another season! He said he wants to do another Grand Prix of Russia for sure. He claims that he has so many more pieces of music he wants to skate to and program ideas. He stated that as an athlete he is not done yet. He even hinted he may be competing at Sochi as well. :D

Apparently he might have to do a test skate to get a spot because Preaubert may be more fit to join Borodulin at worlds than Joubert after his bombing at the Olympics.

    You mean Amodio, not Borodulin.

Ah I confuse all of them. Which one is the 19 year old who was abandoned as a child and did a really good SP at the Olympics?

That is sad news for Vaughn. Will he come back next season? Does this mean that Kevin Reynolds will be going to Torino? If so that is another great opportunity for him to gain more international experience!

Isn't Kevin Reynolds going to Jr. Worlds? Would Shawn Sawyer go instead?

I just checked the entry list for JR Worlds and Kevin Reynolds is not on the list of entries or as a substitute. Since he was behind Patrick and Vaughn at Canadians I am assuming that barring any injuries he would be sent to the World Championships in Torino.

Vaughn is a trooper. Too bad about the injury. He went through 9 pairs of skates this season wow. No wonder he had such a tough season. A plaguing injury like that, what a fighter at Nationals. His short program at Nationals was wow. Electrifying. He deserved his ticket to Olympics.
