Edit: I've replace the Mao's 2008 GPF with 2007 GPF from the thread starter but I cannot remove it from the poll. Sorry but the stupid ISU website had some error in their best performance list. Pretend 2008 GPF score is the 2007 GPF score and I'll count it that way!

Mao's 2008 GPF LP score is not correct. It's 123.17, not 132.55.

You are correct. Mao score from 2008 GPF is not 132.55. This is an error in the ISU website's list of highest scores as I have found out. There was couple of other errors but this one I missed. I will correct the thread and the poll to fix the error.

I think Mao's score 132.55 is from 2007 GPF. So, for picking top 10 score, you had better put Mao's GPF 2007 instead of Mao's NHK 2006.

Thank you! You are correct the score of 132.55 is indeed from 2007 GPF. I will correct it as needed in the thread but I'm afraid that I can't change the poll selection. Perhaps people who are voting for 2008 GPF can pretend it's the 2007 GPF. I'll count it that way.

Why is Sasha Cohen included here?? Her score was back from the 2003 and the rule/protocol for judging was not even the same as say, 2006-2007 time.

Sasha's 2003 SA SP is listed here because it's listed in ISU top scores for the ladies. I was a little surprised also that a such an old score is listed there but I'm basing it on what's on the ISU's official list.

I vividly remember the first time I watched Yuna's Gershwin Concerto in F LP of this season.
I couldn't help saying "Beautiful! Absolutely beautiful" :clap:

I was deeply moved by the fantastic movement of Yuna on the ice
-- she's like a butterfly, a flower or a skylark dancing the the pure melody of heaven .
It purifed heart & soul.---
I believe It is a 'masterpiece' and will be. :agree:

I voted for Mao's Fantaisie-Impromptu but I am actually torn between that and her Czardas LP at Worlds 2007. I loved the audience clapping :clap:

during that program.

I'm appalled none of Arakawa, kostner, Rochette and Ando managed to produce a top10 LP.

Arakawa's highest scoring FS was no.23 at 2006 Olympic Winter Games, 125.32
Kostner's highest scoring FS was no. 41 at 2008 World Championship, 120.40
Rochette's highest scoring FS was no. 26 at 2008 Skate Canada, 124.15
Ando's highest scoring FS was no.15 at 2007 World Championship, 127.11

I think this basically says when Kim and Asada are skating their best, their only competition is each other.

I feel exactly the same way as you.

Yuna's Gerswin LP is really a masterpiece.-- so beautiful to watch.
Especailly Yuna's LP in Vancouver Olympic is just breathtaking.
It will be remembered not only in skating history but in the heart of men. :love:

I'm afraid that this poll is now obsolete. I will have to make a new version after the worlds in Torino. I think a couple more top 10 skates may be recorded (probably by Mao and Yuna). Plus I'll have to add Rochette's LP from the Olympics.

I agree. Wouldn't one expect Arakawa's Olympic Champion program to be here?
I voted for Sasha, but I liked Irina's too.

It's gotta be Yuna's 2010 Vancouver Olympics FS. No Olympic performances of the last 20 years come even close in terms of technicality, artistry, gutsiness, creativity, difficulty and complexity.

Her Scheherazade FS at 09 worlds comes in 2nd. Both Miss Saigon at 07 COR and Gershwin at 09 TEB in 3rd.
