I don't think Joannie needs to be that concerned. Other than the fall on a cleanly rotated 3Lz everything else about this program was well executed. Add at least 4 points to her score if she had landed it and she would be in the lead. The fact that she kept her cool and swaped the solo and combo around on the fly is a very good sign.

And good for Cynthia it is about time she started to skate like she used to. Hopefully she will maintain that confidence going into the LP.

I'm not too worried about Joannie either. I hope she skates a great LP. Congrats to Cynthia for skating a clean SP! Hopefully she can bring the same confidence heading into the LP.

Looks like it will be a repeat of last year. Wasn't able to catch her program but sounds like eveything was just great except for the fall. Hopefully, she picks herself up and performs a long program like she did last year

Joannie can win even without a clean freeskate, but it is her inablity to skate a clean SP that has me worried. It is a gorgeous program but if she messes up again at The Olmpics she could put herslef right out of medal contention.

Wow... can't believe Cynthia beat Joannie! And Mira's in 15th place. Definitely some shockers to come home to after a long day at work!

Wow. Cynthia is leading! Good for her!
Looks like Joannie tried a new costume. Black and red. She looks nice in it but I think her previous one was a bit more stylish.
Anyway, it's gonna be interesting LP!

Cynthia was utterly thrilling ! ..and she simply oozed confidence..I'm hoping to see more of that.

I was very taken with Kate Charbonneau as future prospect. Glad for the coverage on Bold..now some of these girls can get on the radar screen.

Wow, what a performance by Cynthia! Of course, we'll have to wait and see if she splats 4 times in the long like at SC, but still, wow! I still think Joannie will win though.

I would love for Cynthia to win Nationals again. She was always my favorite over Joanne. You can never tell what's going to happen at Nationals. I think it's time that we get a new champion, not that I don't Joanne.

I liked Joannie's old cosume better! This one a little too generic.

Wow, great SP from Cynthia! I love her, very artistic and very athletical at the same time. Hope she has a good LP, with a quota of one fall that's to say

I haven't had a chance to watch. But I am sorry to hear that Rochette fell on lutz. It is a huge score for a program with a fall. But I understand it is Nationals.
