I don't get it. Why were Langois and Hay so great? Love them, but if Megean and Craig were as good as it sounds from the pbp, I would have put them ahead. Sorry, but Dube and Davidson don't deserve to beat them with a fall. I think the judges/ tech callers messed up this one.
i thought that megan and craig were messy at some spots...in the end, they must have been too excited. for example, the last spin, craigs leg hit megans head (not a big problem, but was visible) so little things like that really made a difference. They also only have a double twist which already puts them about 3 points behind and overall quality, dube and davison were way better except for the fall.
Megan and Craig are rough! She touched down with her foot on the landing of the throw and it was very scratchy, they also took off at different times for their sbs jump, and she almost lost the lift - it was wild. If you watch D/D program compared with there's, there is absolutely no comparison. D/D execution of everything else made up for the fall.
Another surprise really... good for Annabelle and Cody though!![]()
It doesn't appear to be a consistent 10% overall. L/H are about 2 points higher that at SC. D/D are 2 lower. 3 thru 7 scored a fair bit higher than there previous season bests. The rest were mostly around their seasons best. The range I had for SB's are 43.24-64.54 the range at Nats is 42.35-65.47 so I would say there is much inflation at all.
Since some of that middle group only had scores from earlier in the season it is conceivable that they really have made improvements.
I am looking forward to the LP, very exciting competition!
