Shawn Sawyer
Triple axel?
Triple Flip- Triple Toe
Triple lutz
Couldn't see the axel ><.....busy.
His flexibility has improved... astonishing

Good skate from Sawyer. 3a two-footed, but looked rotated, so he should be alright. 3lz also (very) slight 2foot? I kinda enjoyed Russell's program more, actually... footwork more spectacular/unique, better flow

And I've been a fan of Shawn Sawyer for a very long time. That splitz at the end is just sick! He is one of the most artistic skaters in the men's event. Still struggling with cheating his axel, but otherwise very clean. He seems to have more confidence. The music is the same as one of the novice dance teams, I believe. 72.93 points, just behind Joey Russell

seems to be the night for fluke falls....Ian Martinez, and now Kevin Reynolds. He still looks a little rough around the edges, but wow, he has improved the artistry side of his skating! Really nice to see his skating developing and maturing. 67.39 points, and currently in 3rd.

Reynolds 4s-3t looked easy!
3a slipped of landing edge
3lz
slip/fall in circular footwork - a shame
the kid is improving, I did enjoy that. Dorky, but it suits him (in an adorable way). Shae-Lynn is a good choreographer. He is committed to the music, choreo, full movement and pushing the outward expression.
I think the 2nd fall will hurt a lot, will be even more costly pcs wise... just one fall wouldn't have been so bad with his fabulous 4s-3t as backup

Jeremy Ten
3a fall
had looked tentative in opening of program
3lz-1t ouch...
not his year
1f
the guy's confidence does not seem to be there
I was impressed last year with the attack and speed in his skating... you can see the lack of confidence this season by contrast. Tough year i guess... he's young.
poor guy, distraught in KnC :-(
he's so talented, he can turn it around next year

I also really enjoyed watching Kevin...great to see a quad! The long program is looking like it's going to be a really good fight.
...except Jeremy didn't have a great skate.
-
And if Jeremy Ten could add some jumps to that amazing footwork and musicality and spins, he would have a winning package.... I'm afraid he will be buried deep in the pack missing so many technical elements.
-
They should really put a can-jump-but-not-skate and a can-skate-but-not-jump together and mix them up, lol...

Poor Jeremy! It sounds like his nerves are getting the best of him. I hope he has a fabulous free skate!!!
-
so it seems like vaughn chipeur will beat joey russell
huge 3a
awesome 3-3
triple lutz

What a contrast - from the heart break of seeing Jeremy so devasted, to Vaughn's great skate! That's sport for you. 4 years is a long time to wait for the ones who won't make it to Vancouver, but they're all young.

Patrick Chan is coming up, OMG< I'm so nervous. Come on, Patrick, skate well!!!
