I voted for Johnny, but Adam Rippon comes a close second.

I thought I'd have trouble deciding, but then I realized that Paul Wylie was on the list, and I had no problem at all making up my mind. There are many great male skaters on this list, of course, and after yesterday Adam Rippon and Jeremy Abbot have moved up really fast in my esteem, but Wylie still is at the top for me. Maybe he always will be. His extensions, his emotional immediacy, and the quickness of his movements have yet to be equalled for me. In my personal pantheon of male skaters, only Browning is higher up in the rankings.

I voted for Abbott, but I'll give an honorable shout-out to Savoie and Rippon.

Oh no, I voted for Todd Eldredge because he is one of my favorites and I didn't think he would get many votes. Now I see he is one of the leaders, Somebody vote for Rudy Galido! (But my real favorite is Scott Hamilton.)

Todd- such a clean and neat skater, awesome camel spins and overall best spinner in his era inspired by Scott Davis.

I voted for Brian Boitano. He was the reason to get me into figure skating. In the current skaters, Jeremy Abbott is my favorite.

I like them all, but I had to go for (duh!) Todd.

My favorites in order are Todd, Paul, & Matt.

My deepest thanks goes to Brian B. and Brian O. for getting me "hooked" on figure skating at the Calgary Olympics in the "Battle of the Brians". I can't thank them enough!

My alltime favorite is Todd Eldredge. A great all around skater. Then I'd go with Johnny & Paul.Whoops: I forgot Ryan Bradley.

I voted for Paul Wylie but if it makes you feel better he's tied in my mind with Rudy Galindo. There should be an option to tie. I just love them both. Todd Eldredge and Brian Botaino were greater skaters, of course, but it's Paul Wylie's 1992 Olympic performances and Galindo's 1996 nationals performance that I can watch over and over again.

Wait. Dick Button's not on the list? I mean I know he's old and all but since he's still such a presence in the sport ... I think I might have to change my vote to "other:" dick button.

Scott via lifetime achievement. But, favorite single moment regarding a US Mens Skater: Rudy's Nationals victory. Close second: Jeremy Abbott 2010 short and long.

Matt Savoie and Jeremy Abbott. Watching Abbott advance in the ranks is like realizing a dream that I had always dreamed for Savoie. I'm so glad I have Abbott to cheer for now because he's so like Savoie in some ways, despite being completely his own skater. They are two true artists.
