Any Announcement About Next Year's Canadians

Or next year's Skate Canada for that matter?

We usually know by now, but I haven't heard anything. Anyone else?

To be announced in 4 to 5 weeks for both Canadians and Skate Canada according to Debbi Wilkes.

Canadian Nationals were just held here in Halifax in 2007 so that's probably not gonna happen - but Skate Canada hasn't been held here since 2004 so you never know... but I would bet on Skate Canada being held somewhere in the Prairies as it hasn't been there since 2001 in Saskatoon and Nationals in Quebec - it has been since 1989 that they have been held anywhere in Quebec. Then again, I'd guess the next choice based on 'who's turn is next' would be New Brunswick probably.

We were told in the rink I believe that one comp would be out west and one in the east. I'd think NB would have a good chance at it. For the western comps I'd guess Winnipeg (if it wants it) or Edm.

We'll see.

For those who haven't heard. Skate Canada will be in Kingston and Nationals in Victoria. I haven't seen an official announcment about Challenge for next year
