Wow- great job Kevin!
Pulled himself together!
YAY for the 3 axel, was beautiful.
KVDP
Robin hood
3a nice
2a
3z
flying sit spin
the slow part now, circle step sequence
3f-3t-2l nice
straight line step sequence, nothing special
3l easy
sit change sit spin
3s sequence to 3t
hydroblading!
2a
final combo spin
Typical KVDP program, strong jumps but not much else, let's see how many places he can go up (if he can)
*127.76 in the LP, 195.48 overall, 1st place
I love his Robin Hood program, is he going to skate it in Vancouver?
YEAH KVDP
EDIT: His score should have been higher
I'm starting to HATE concerto d'Aranjues- what do they see in it?? It's going straight next to Bolero and Carmen in my book, as music that should be banned due to overuse.
Haha Kevin attempting spirals. Last year at Euros he didn't attempt any choreography at all and his spins were atrocious; it was better this year, but he makes all non-jump elements look awkward.
He did good thoughHe'll probably not make it to the podium of Vancouver, but *maybe* if he skates lights out and lands all his triple axels, quad and 3-3-3 he could fight for a bronze at Worlds?
My dream podium is Brian Joubert gold, Johnny Weir Silver, and KVDP, with the bronze. That would be IDEAL!!!!
Will be interesting to see Adrian's 'crazy' LP again. Not so much b/c of the promised quad, but b/c of the choreo![]()
Viktor Pfeifer
Aranjuez
quad fall, maybe underrotated as well
2a-3t clean
3s-3t nice
2z
really frontloaded program
a spin, I missed it..
circle step sequence, again in slow music, as was KVDP's
not much expression
3l clean
3z-2t-2t
3f clean again
and a 2a
again a lot of jumps back-to-back
sit spin
straight line step sequence, not so wise to put it to the same music cut as Plushy's SP
camel to sit, change sit spin, basic positions
an ok program, maybe he shouldn't have tried the quad..
*114.99, 178.41 into 4th place, ouch..

Anton Kovalevski now
some mafia-based music
voidy moves in the beggining
3a hand down
3z-3t nice
again some voids
ouch, he never left the ice on the axel attempt
just a 2f
3s
sit change sit spin, nice centered
straigh line step sequence
music changes, again some voidy moves
3z-2t-2t
3l good
flying sit spin
circle step sequence, a nice one
spread eagle to a 2a
final combo spin
Artistically the best program so far, but the jumps weren't there...
121.64, 186.84 overall, 2nd place, maybe he could be first if he was clean

Yeah, exactly! I think it's great that he's trying! That's the only way it might eventually come a little more natural to him. I must admit the spiral sort of made me laugh. I mean, if you hear him in interviews, he's like the 'anti-spiral guy'
I'm just hoping for a big splash in Turin; when I'll be the one waving the Belgian flag in the audience!
Javi certainly holds your intrest hola![]()
