Laura: lovely to watch, bombed on the jumps; very weird that she still got such a high score... She did deserve a good score artistically.
Carolina: not perfect, but the jumps she did land looked solid; mistakes were limited; this might be enough to get her European title back.
Alena: still not my cup of tea; wasn't on tonight; I don't think she'll be Euros champ this year...

Leonova didn't bring it like she usually does. Pretty flat tonight. She needs to get that attitude back.

Leonova really did seem as close to a sure thing as you could get for this one. The end of the season has been troubling for her.

I think it may be a result of Leonova skating faster and with more attack than Meier and because Alena was in the final LP group, which normally results in higher PCS for all skaters who skate in that last group. JMO.
