If not, I'll just be watching the posts here..![]()

If you subscribed to icenetwork, you could see this live in Canada--and all other US events. However, GP events are blocked because of separate ISU licensing agreements with Canadian media.

I'm guessing it has something to do with NBC ?
Warmup Group
1 Stephanie Zastrow, St Paul FSC
Michael Lueck, Burnsville-MN Valley FSC
Dark Eyes (Russian Gypsy)
He red shirt black vest (coins hanging, floral embroidery) black pants
She in skirt with wide red, black, purple, mustard yellow stripes and deep v neck top
They were in novice last year where they did not make it to nationals.
An angsty start to an optional pair spin for extra credit
Mid line step kind of ordinary and slow
Lift in a really nice split, one foot on the man's foot, the other above his head
Twizzles a mess. He really did not do the second set, (foot down and no forward motion)
total 36.73 (59.31 overall)
2 Grace Cho, IceWorks SC
Dmitry Ponomarev, IceWorks SC
Russian folk dance
White tunic with floral embroidery black pants,
Red long vest, white top, red skirt floral embroidery with lacings on her
He did a great Russian split in the middle of the routine
The twizzles went quickly into the second set, which was nice
Unison was pretty bad throughout
The lift was sloppy, unstable and probably got the deduction
They also had sort of a half pull Arabian
20.82 14.04 -1.0 total 33.86 overall 56.25
3 Lauren Corry, Washington FSC
Alexander Lorello, University of Delaware FSC
Name of program Red Desert, coached by Ludingtons
She's in a light navy net bra edged with pale turquoise and navy net skirt and they are doing belly dancing hands pretty much throughout.
There's a stumble to end
The coach is proud of them
24.11 16.06 total 40.17 overall 59.32 into 1st
4 Elizabeth Chan, Skating Club of San Francisco Inc
Jason Deveikis, Ann Arbor FSC
Spring Festival (A Chinese dance)
The best part of this dance was the way the very long red streamers she had on her arms moved and
the Chinese music.
They had little or no unison, and a great deal of difficulty doing the twizzles
Not much in the way of edges either
18.16 11.47 -1.0 total 28.63 overall 43.02
5 Shannon Wingle, Arctic FSC
Timothy McKernan, Broadmoor SC
Lord of the Dance Irish Folk
Starts out with the song of the guards in The Wizard of OZ???
Dark (navy?) Costumes blend into the audience seats, making it hard to see details
Grave problems with the twizzles
They have a video of Tim's Dad, filmed from Iraq. He is proud of Tim!! And of his wife.
24.95 19.78 total 44.73 overall 66.48
They are now having a Scholastic Award ceremony.
I didn't catch all the names too well--I think the honorees are:
Laurie Bonacorsi (jr ice dancer), Scott Dyer, Rachael Flatt (sr ladies), Alexa Komnick, Rachael Navtal, Rebecca Stern (sr. ladies), Valerie L? from MA, Marimo Shioda (MA), Kevin Sun (DE), Priscilla Chen (CA)

US championships SP & OD and CD start orders are based on a draw.
Now they are resurfacing the ice. This is a good thing since D&W, B&A, and NavBoms are all in the next warmup group.
Completely off-topic..Doris how do you feel about Tim Burton planning to do a sort-of live action version of Sleeping Beauty for Disney ..to be titled "Maleficent"..told from her POV?
The top 10 dance teams randomly draw for a place in one of the final 2 warmups in the original dance. It does not matter if you're in 10th or 1st you could be in the second warmup of the third warm up. For example, Belbin and Agosto drew #6, but Samuelson and Bates drew #13.
Vis a vis Maleficient--sounds like a rip off of Wicked to me.
Just like tooth fairy seems to be mining the same vein as The Santa Clause and Elf.
Rip off of Wicked...Yeah could be. Still it'll probably be visually stunning.
Well ,Lets hope all these teams skate well..must be nearly time.
Ice is done. They interviewed Todd Eldredge about what he did to have such a long career (work hard, take care of yourself) Now they're playing some music.
Now Warm Up group 2 is taking the ice. Tanith & Ben skate first, Meryl & Charlie 3rd.
Tanith just fell warming up a twizzle
Aw Tanith and Ben did a great job!
