I love watching but don't know enough to do PBP. PJ Kwong is predicting this podium for pairs:

    1. Zhang/Zhang CHN
    2. Duhamel/Buntin CAN
    3. McLaughlin/Brubaker USA

I don't know, it's time for MC/BRU to step up to the plate after their Nationals.

I thought I saw it on CCTV 5's schedule, but I can't get my TVU player to play CCTV 5 at the moment. Damn!

    First SP Pair on Bold

Ok, I will try PBP for the fun of it. If I make any mistakes, it's because I am a watcher not a skater. Moore Towers and Moscovitz (CAN) skating. SBS triple sal, not successful but stayed up, she two footed. triple lutz twist. not too high. very nice throw triple loop, missed the landing, didn't fall though, nice lift, not a good death spiral, her head doesn't get too low, lost balance, she skates like Kristy Sargeant (former Can champion), who is one of their coaches , nice speed and unison in SBS spins except at the end end. A nice short program for their first international event. PJ Kwong's commentary is helping me with technical stuff here. Their score is 48.76 (28.92 (technical) 19.84(presentation) )

Castelli and Shapier (USA) SP Four Continents

They are in nice black costume, middle eastern music. Nice death spiral to start, great speed, wonderful control PJ Kwong says, I like her smooth transition. nice entrance to double split twist, triple Sal, he fell, SBS spins, off unison a bit. They look nice as a couple, she singled planned a triple sal and double footed. Nice lift, nice unique entry, very slow straight line foot work but nice variations, PJ Kwong says. PJ thinks they will get credited for double thrown. PJ like the footwork variations. The score is 25.16/20.44 -1 44.60 total 2nd place

They are warming up the second group of three pairs.

Four Continents live streaming on CBC - real time

    http://www.cbc.ca/video/#/sports/cha...figure_skating

if you can't link go to www.cbc.ca click on sports and then click on figure skating. on the right side there is a prompt to watch skating.

I know when I was visiting states, I couldn't access the video. so those of you outside of Canada may not be able to access. But I understand sometimes it works outside.

Ouch. Hmm, it will be interesting to see how the American skaters get through this competition... Nationals were only a few days ago (especially for the dance teams/ladies). Not much time to get ready for this one!

Thanks for this info. Unfortunately, it won't let me watch here in the US, but thank you anyway.

    SUNYOTO-YANG's (TPE) - Four Continents

They train in US, coach OPPERGARD, skating to Snowman, a classical piece of music, she has a nice form, SBS double axel, fully rotated but she fell, nice double lutz twist, nice height and light, nice lift entry to throw triple sal, she touched on the landing but almost complete, nice back outside death spiral, she goes down low holding one leg, loss of unison by a bit on SBS spins but nice line, they were a little far apart, nice speed in straight line foot work, innovative entry to star lift, nice carriage PJ says, a slow final spin. Score 27.14/17.28 -1 43.42 total. in 3rd place

Thanks for the pbp. Canadian links don't work for me either. We need a link to Korean TV.
