They're showing some kind of Slutskaya/Kwan special right now on the CCTV stream. I'm happy that I understand half of it. Hahah.

Korean media reported today what Japanese papers had reported. TAT was hospitalized in Europe and will not be able to join Mao anytime before the Olympics. She had sudden high blood pressure after the Euro. She can't come to 4CC in Korea because of this.

Tatiana has had health issues for many many years. In her book Katia Gordeeva, (I don't know if any of you out there are old enough to remember the glory days of the Russian spair skater G & G, but anyway), wrote that Tatiana had bottles and bottles of pills to keep her healthy back in early 90s! I saw in LA in March this year, she was sitting right in front of me, and she looked very healthy and trim. Hope she will be well for her sake and Mao's sake and the sake of the world of figure skating.
