They're showing Na Young Kim's FS... she must be feeling bad now... she was always overshadowed by Yuna and now by younger kids... she didn't too happy in the K&C... she stuck her tongue out after hearing the score... now they're showing Chae Hwa Kim...

Too bad for Na-Young Kim. Wasn't she fourth at this very event two years ago?

Thanks, I didn't know what was going on there for a while.

I love this Evita soundtrack song.

Checking the scores for the ladies that have skated the PC's are all low not one 6 in the group. That will change with the last group to skate.

FINALLY IT'S BACK. The forum went into "maintenence" mode right when Akiko was skating.

    Standings:
    1. Mao Asada 183.96
    2. Akiko Suzuki 173.72
    3. Caroline Zhang 160.78

    SO HAPPY.

First off, congratulations to podium finishers, especially Caroline for finally getting back onto the podium!!

I was sure that Mao's second 3A would be downgraded, but it wasn't. How come 3A in short was downgraded and that was not?

Really fun competition. Good long from Mao, Akiko still as consistently solid as she's been all season and some redemption for Caroline after a horrific nationals.

Also nice to see the three skaters in 4th, 5th, 6th and just up out of juniors (Dobbs, Imai, Kwak) giving their best performances here, crushing all previous personal bests. Names we might be hearing over the next four years right there.

They slowmo both 3As, the second one looks rotated. Both are significantly better than her 3A in the short program, which you can see the UR at replay.
Wow, ****** PCS for Asada. She was expecting a lot more.

And Akiko definitely deserve a lot more for PCS. 52? What is she, a junior skater?

I'm jumping with joy for Caroline. She ended her season with a medal.

Wow, I gave up on the poor quality of live feed during Akiko's skate, and GS died on me, but I come back to great news! Redemption for Mao and Caroline and another great performance by Akiko!

    Onward and upward!

Lol, it is back, I thought it might have been my computer, or somebody hacked both the stream I was watching & GS because Mao was skating.

Seriously, can anyone give a breakdown of the elements that Akiko, Mao, and Caroline did? My feed was pretty bad, slow motion, so I don't trust it. And it went completely out for Mao! Seriously, everybody else was fine until the middle of Mao's performance & then BAM!

Yay! I'm so happy for Asada and Zhang! They both really needed this redemption, and it looks like Asada is definitely prepped for the Olympics; she just needs to maintain that consistency in the short program. If she ups the PCS, she'll definitely be in a position to dominate again.

    126.74 68.58 58.16 = Mao Asada at 4 Continents
    133.95 67.55 66.40 = Yu-Na Kim at TEB

And doesn't this mean Zhang qualifies for funding now? Team B- Tier 2?
