the ice around about few degrees -the center of his/her weight is still in the air- rather it's when the ENTIRE part of blade hits the ice where the actual rotation in the air finishes then draws curve mark on the ice. A lot of skaters rotate triples this way and usually get ratified unless their full blades rotate more than 90 degrees on the ice. At least that's how I see it.
