Writers Block! (A Cry For HELP!!)

My term paper is on Racial Discrimination focusing on the media coverage surrounding missing children. I personally would like to see all of the children get as much attention as Elizabeth Smart(who, from the Katie Couric and Oprah interviews seems to want this whole thing to go away and get the media off of her... but I have a whole rant on that that might offend someone so I'll try and restrain myself LOL) and Jean-Bennet Ramsey did(and do).

Anyway... I need some articles on this thing... and I am totally coming up empty and I think it's of the way I'm looking online... any advice on what to type into search engines would be appreciative!

Since it's not practical to give national coverage to every kidnapping (including thousands of white children as well as of other ethnicities) I hope you are examining why these select cases get national attention. To me it has more to do with race. It has to be sexy enough for national media coverage - and I don't mean "sexy" in the sexual term, but rather in the media-worthy term. I think to garner national attention, it's not just race but:

Money - as in wealthy vs. poor income of the family the child was kidnapped from
Politics
Religion (i.e. the Smart case)
Hollywood aspect
Bizzare Misc angle
The "Who you know" factor

I don't remember exactly, but I think I entered the words "Kidnapping national media coverage"
