I think she has potential. She was insightful, prepared and well-spoken. She needs spice. But for her first time, it was well done. I hope the big networks consider her for the future. For one thing, younger fans know who she is and will be more excited to hear from her than the older folks. But not just yet. She needs practice.

I miss Dick and his frank and often off colour remarks! But you can't get better than someone who helped invent the sport as we know it today..... throughout his career in broadcasting he was just as much an educator as a color commentator. There was no one better when it came to understanding the sport itself with general (and sometimes specific) skating knowledge.
