If only they didn't suck so much in the speed department, Samuelson and Bates could've skated to Dixie Chicks' Sin Wagon instead, the most raucous and barn-stomping of Dixie Chicks songs. It's way too uptempo for their sluggish skating, though

LOL at the Russians doing the kalinka as a pair of saucy seamen.

They've broken to resurface the ice and are interviewing Robin Cousins as it's 30 years today since he won his Olympic gold at Lake Placid.

Okay QUESTION: what country does the Russian pair's 'sailor' dance supposed to symbolize, are they a season late and performing last year's original dance?

    GRRRRR :angry

Ok they aired the Skicross footage earlier today!!! Why show it again, no Americans even came close to medaling :angry

My understanding is that it is a Russian folk dance. Kraatz announced it as such (though the specific type escapes me).

Their country. As Cadiva said, where do you think Sailor's Hornpipe dance is from? It's folk.

The gay sailors were a bit underscored IMO, they were much better than at Euros.. Samuelson Bates are the best so farr. they totally nailed the country theme.

Could anyone post updated standings (with or without scores) after each team? My laptop still doesn't seem to like the vancouver2010 site.

Agreed. And they deserve to, imo.
