Belgium will be sending skaters in all four disciplines - the criteria is their result at Junior Nationals. Does anyone know when Canada will actually announce their entries?

Updated the list with the U.S. entries.![]()
Kate did not go to junior worlds last year. Diane Szmiett went last year.
Canada has only 1 ladies spot available and Diane is still eligible.
Personally I see Diane getting the ticket even though IMO Kate is a better long term prospect. Diane's skating is generic but she has the jumps Kate lacks at this moment.
It will be DIane or Kate who is going, nobody else will be considered.

I can't believe the US is sending Ashley, AGAIN! I'm sorry, but that's a joke. Hope Gao does well.
I hope Kate Charbonneau goes from Canada; she's really talented and did well in the JGP.
I'm glad Ashley at least has a major world competition coming up. She took herself out of 4CC so this was the only option.
Canada should send Diane. She crushed Kate at nationals and Canada needs to try and get more international spots before they can start trying to be nice and spread their event slots around.
Austria is not going to send Miriam Ziegler since she was at Europeans and is going to the Olympics. They´ll send the Junior Champion Viktoria Huebler and the alternate is Belinda Schoenberger.
The Austrian entries are confirmed:
Ice Dance:
Sonja Pauli/Tobias Eisenbauer
Pairs:
Stina Martini/ Severin Kiefer
Ladies:
Victoria Hübler
Men:
Mario-Rafael Ionian
Why doesnt Canada send Ralph/Hill (Ice Dance) to JR worlds? Have they aged out?
Skate Canada has not officially announced the World Junior team yet but I am sure that Ralph/Hill is going.
Not only can they go to JW this season but they can next year as well.
Most likely the other teams to be selected are Routhier/Saucke-Lacelle and Paul/Islam.
I am 99.9% sure this will be the Canadian dance teams for JW.
^Thanks for the clarification! I think that they have had a pretty great season so far on the JGP circuit and I hope they do well this week at Four Continents.
Routhier/Saucke-Lacelle are no longer skating together. She's listed on ice partner search.
As for Germany, Bavarian open finished yesterday and it's not confirmed yet, but based on the criteria. Daniel Dotzauer will go in men and Julia Pfrengle & Isabel Drescher will go in ladies.
Thank you to all of you for all of the information... I have updated the list with newest information.![]()
