Plushy actually said to Mao, "lutz and flip jump, we don't need them. Come to my hotel and I will make your medal platinum like mine."![]()

ROTFLMAO!!!!
Thanks for posting the clip, and also these beautiful & funny cartoons! *laughing*
I really love the caricatures, they actually remind me of pictures I have of Sonja Henie posing with Gillis Grafstrom & Karl Schafer. Later on tonight when I'm done working I will look for them & post them.
Lol, what I find funny is how much in common The King has with the greats of the past, besides posing with lovely ladies.Zhenya & Gillis Grafstrom have only won 3 World titles compared to Ulrich Salchow's 10, Karl Schafer's 7, and Dick Button's 5. Yet, when it comes to Europeans, with his 6 European Titles, he's only behind Ulrich Salchow's 9 & Karl Schafer's 8. And, of course, only Zhenya & Gillis Grafstrom have medalled at 3 Olympiads, for mens singles figure skating only.

P.S. Let's not make this into a Plushenko vs. Lysacek thread, kay? (:
here is the whole video but I m not sure if it can be viewed from everywhere!
It is hilarious!
Here's fan art of Mao hoisting Plushenko instead. Role reversal!
But all is not well in the Asada-Plushenko courtship! A challenger appears! A number of years back, Phillipe Candeloro skated as a pirate in an ice show that Mao also appeared in, perhaps there was also an innocent smooch, so fans have decided that pirate Candeloro is a suitable rival for Plushenko. How is a girl to choose between two dashing and daffy suitors?
But wait! There's another wrinkle. Mao has also been shipped with... Yu Na. Some people, perhaps sick of the media and fan-driven rivalry between the two, or perhaps just playing off such tensions, have decided that Mao and Yu Na would make a sweet couple. So this love triangle is now a quadrangle, with both Yu Na and Phillipe incensed at Mao and Plushenko's PDA. Oh what a tangled... etc.
It's from the Japanese online art community Pixiv. Are you familiar with DeviantArt? Pixiv is basically the Japanese version of that. I visit Pixiv often for purely research reasons, nothing to do with tentacles at all. >_>
