    Knock on wood.

(I guess Jack Gallagher doesn't believe in the concept of jinxing...)

Thanks for the article. I know I will be rooting for Dai for Gold. I am excited to see his two programs again and
    wish him the best.

    Some Takahashi News

    All in Japanese
    http://hochi.yomiuri.co.jp/osaka/spo...OHO1T00126.htm

He receives many offers from fashion magazines, but declines.

He wants to learn dances (tango, Spanish, ball room dance, jazz, Japanese).

    About the quad:
    http://www.sponichi.co.jp/sports/fla...eature=related
    跳ぶと決めたのは演技が始まってから。けがをする前は試合で成功していたので、前の自分に戻りたくて挑戦し ている。無謀な挑戦だったが、あれだけ4回転を入れなければいけないと言ってきたので…

"It was after starting the performance when I decided to do it. I used to land it at comps before the injury. I have been attempting it because I have wanted to go back to my old self. It was a reckless challenge. But I had kept talking so much that the quad is a must, so...."

He had a lot of media apperances before the Olympics because he was one of the Symbol Athletes for the Japanese Olympic Committee. He could not take back his word.... Interestingly, I heard that his coach was willing to put it, even though his success rate was nowhere near the level that can be used in a program, seen from the normal standard.

Why did he decline? Daisuke and fashion shoots would seem to be a perfect match.
