I hope that Mao will take a good look on why she get low marks. She will have to perfect that landing on her trip X.

Weir so full of himself - I find myself disagreeing with almost everything he has said in post skate analysis. He is plugging Miki - coz he wants to keep his little fans in Japan happy. Such a phony!

You are not alone. such a hypocrite.

I feel bad for Mirai, but I think she should be proud of herself for what she accomplished this season. I think she's grown as a competitor and may now be better in the future.

Huh? Why would Mao winning gold then have been unbelievable? (Sorry, only got caught up in skating after 2009 Worlds.)

I don't think Mao winning the 2008 World title was "unbelievable". She fell on her 3A in the LP, but she did place 2nd in the LP, 1st overall anyways. Yu-Na, who won the LP, would have won the title if she didn't make a major mistake in her short, which put her considerably back coming into the long (Mao had a clean SP). I think people need to remember that there are in fact two phases of a figure skating competition--to use the old cliche, you can't win a competition in the SP but you can for sure lose one.

Carolina's silver, however, is much more debateable.

Carolina's bogus '08 silver changed Yukari's career - but still I blame JSF for that....

I don't bother to check that out, so take it and shove it in your mouth.
And can you stop pretending to be Chinese? Why would you do that?

OMG....Why should I bother pretending to be Chinese?I am Chinese indeed.
I think you can stop pretending to be Holmes right away....Diana Kim is a perfect nickname for her already in here,it's just you dont know this....

Wow, the tech specialist sure handed out DGs like candy. Has anyone been stricter than he's been today?

Then again looking at the actual DG's, to me seemed pretty obvious and well called...with the exception of Kostners 3toe (which I can't remember because I was in a trance as I watched her skate:love:...going to have look at it again). I was more surprised that Miki didn't get a couple more URs. Some of those jumps looked fairly close and could have gone either way.

I forgot Miki was not ahead of Laura overall, I loved Laura at Olympics but somehow here seemed strange if she gets -bronze with that free skate.

Call pretty bonus!! That's the least amount of triples skate and yet manage to win a bronze??? OMGGGGGG

Miki was totally robbed!!! If Laura pull another triple, i wouldn't be upset, but 3 triples???

Whole FS was such a joke!! Too bad for Marai, pressure got to her!!

Or hope for a more lenient tech caller. The tech panel at this event was very strict with the downgrades--Mao's 3As here would've probably been all ratified at the Olympics.

7. Makarova

9. Nagasu

Yuna has been especially overscored since 2009 season.
Something must have changed since then....really.
I believe many people ( except Korean people) think her score is overscored. Today , the contradiction came to be much clear, cause it seems only Yuna was extremely over scored today.

I agree partially - Laura did get the "pretty bonus" - but it was for pretty skating!

Miki - I like her - but what dull, disappointing programs from her this season.

In fairness to nothingmuch, he/she wasn't lying that Yu Na is occassionally referred to as Diana on the Chinese forums.
