Orser once said in interview that being with Yuna in Korea is like traveling with Princess Diana. Since then there has been some sour grapes calling her "Diana" for no reason.
No fans ever call her "Diana." In fact, there was only one person who started calling her "Diana" in Golden Skate (UM84/Artistry/Watchvancouver... they are same person).
I am assuming that this might be the same person as well.

Is that guy also from China?
Or how come in my chinese skating forum, everybody calls her Diana Kim?....

Take a look at here,a page where I searched "Diana"inside the forum....

Just a thought to those screaming bloody murder re: Kim's scores...first, I am not partial to either Kim or Asada, but can you please tell me how many Triple-Triple did Asada do for you to scream murder and cursing the judges? When you answer that question. Can you then tell me how many triple-triple or double-triple did Kim do? So now that you know one of Asada's Triple Axel is downgraded, which lost roughly 5~6 points on that jump alone, do you still feel Asada was undermarked?

No, me neither! I was never really a fan of Laura's until the Olympics. There's something about the neat, crisp way in which she moves on the ice that's lovely to watch. Hopefully she'll overcome her tendency to double her jumps in the future with this added confidence boost of a world medal.

Laura has such superior PE - such great posture, IN , CH.
If that doesn't count - then skating will lose me.

BTW, congrats to Cynthia - she was very good !!

With her clean Skate and if she had received the PCS she should have got in the short - Cynthia would have had the bronze here! Still think she should have had it! Just goes to show that how ones skates during the whole season does come into play in the long run. Had she done better early in the season Cynthia would have had a better start number in the short and would have gotten better PCS marks! And who would have thought that Cynthia would be the top NA lady here at worlds!
Also means that Cynthia will be a seeded skater at the GP events next year and Joannie (if she stays in ) will not be! So the 2 of them could end up at the same events!

Gosh didn't realize it was so close overall between 3rd and 6th, i wish Cynthia had gotten that extra point and a half.

"Diana Kim"?

...what is this/I don't even...what?

David Wilson said that Yuna's such a big celeb in Korea that there are photographers, etc. everywhere. Yuna needs bodyguards to go see her parents, etc.

So he said it's crazy like Princess Diana or something. And some haters started calling her Diana Kim...(hater meaning "watchvancouver" and all of his other nicks)

On PCS yes. I have no quibbles with TES, which Asada placed ahead in.

I think no one's contesting the technical score ... what some feel is that Asada deserved higher PCS.

I'm loving the bitterness from one poster with multiple ghostnics. LOL.

All I can say is YAY YUNA!

Ok well, I can honestly say this is THE most bizarre event I have ever watched. So many changes in the standings & clean skates from the most unlikely people (Phaneuf, Kostner...etc) and bombs from of the most of the favorites. I need some time to process all of this..

Okay, 1. Why do we have to know that you're Chinese and 2. Why would you emphasize "from China" or "our Chinese forum"???

Well,I guess very few Chinese appear here,so I established this firstly so as to see if there are other Chinese around me....

Weir so full of himself - I find myself disagreeing with almost everything he has said in post skate analysis. He is plugging Miki - coz he wants to keep his little fans in Japan happy. Such a phony!

I always love the Worlds after the Olympics. It is such a test of stamina, and you often get to see the up and comers succeed, or skaters redeem themselves after the Olympics, or skaters finally skate to their potential knowing that there is a possibility that the top skaters will make mistakes. I used to get upset over the marks, but there is no point. I think that the judges are doing their best, I like that the new system rewards quality and artistry more than the old system. I love watching figure skating, and rejoice in every good performance. Way to go Cynthia for showing the world what you can do!!! I saw Cynthia win her Canadian title when she was so young, and have been waiting for this day for a long time!! What an amazing fight to get to this point. I think it is awesome that two of the most dominant figure skaters ever managed to split the major titles this year. Good to see someone brand new on the podium, albeit with a rough skate (and I would have loved for that new person to be Cynthia!). Overall, I think it was a fantastics season, and I am more than a little depressed that it is over!!

Wow, the tech specialist sure handed out DGs like candy. Has anyone been stricter than he's been today?

I have enjoyed Tara's commentary, and I've also liked watching this aftershow with her, Johnny, and Peter Carruthers.

Wallylutz,YES. BIG TIME. Yuna messed up some jumps but that is not so importatnt. To me that program was so flat. There is nothing appeling about it. She was skating almost like "Whatever" Her spins were awfully slow and that was terrible footwork. There is no doubt in my mind that Yuna has been overscored. It is RIDICULOUS!!

Poor Mirai, I hate interviews like that.

Yea, but it is a learning experience. Mirai - tearful and promising to train harder and do better. Rachael, as always, "Im happy with the way I skated" :sheesh:

Mirai will be even better next year!
