    It's interesting how the point system is different from the "placements". Kevin came in 4th and 3d in SP and FS, but came out 2nd overall. Under the old system, Brian would have been 2nd overall.

    That bronze medal was a real squeaker for Weiss. With Belbin/Agosto, gold medalists from Skate America, finishing 4th in Ice Dance behind the French and French Canadian teams, I was half expecting to see Weiss finish 4th behind the Belgian and the Frenchman. Weiss beat out Joubert by a mere 0.40.

    Joubert found out that under CoP, Elena Liashenko notwithstanding, you can still lose a competition in the SP.
