Thanks. I just wish the three SOI tours didn't overlap this season. We love our international skaters too! Thank goodness Yuka is on the US tour.

Kurt coming back and doing "That's Entertainment," wow!

Most skaters are from Nagoya!

One of the commentators is Machiko Yamada. They were talkative...

I'm just starting to watch these but wow: Miki!! I have NEVER seen her look so happy, pretty or charming. She's doing the same kind of number Rachael Flatt competed with this season only Miki is so much sexier, more grown-up and more adorable. The simple pink dress is a revelation. I hope she never goes back to those lurid multicolored costumes she's been using for competition dresses. They're like Cinderella's rags - and here is the beautiful princess.

As for S/Z's Turandot - just glorious. The climax as Pavarotti sings "Vincero" (I will win) is sublime.

Thanks for posting.

Thanks for the clips Morning Glory!

I read Spun's post and checked out Miki first - and how nice to see her having fun and skating to such playful choreo.
Please, more of this in the future Miki

Kurt coming back and doing "That's Entertainment," wow!

not one of my favorites of his, but that opening footwork gets me everytime... no one moves like he does

and no one recovers from a fall quite so seemlessly as Kurt, either.

Think it was the first time to see Miki in pink. It is very nice. Why does not she wear costumes like this at comps?

I'd love to see mao and jeffrey....anyway Joannie is simply the best. Her fluid, elegant georgeous skating makes her number 1 for me and this program is so moving. She really skates with her heart and soul unlike some competitors. Beautiful!

Thank god there was no mao asada and jeffrey buttle pair up like last year

Jeff & Mao's pair program was not in the SOI Japan but in "The ICE" held in summer usually. I'm not sure Jeff will come to The ICE this year and do the pair program with Mao, but I do hope so!

Loved Fumie's costume but was not to crazy about her program it just seemed a little flat to me.
