This was announced a while back, but figured the other teachers on this board who enjoy hte Iditarod and use it in the curriculum might enjoy knowing about it.
Martha Dobson (from North Carolina) was chosen as the race's next "Teacher on the Trail" she gets to create the curriculum this year, and is currently in Alaska attending the Iditarod Teacher's Conference going on this week (June 20-28).
