I wish I was able to get there for this! I live in NJ so it would normally be easy for me to get there, but I'm the only one in my family that really cares about seeing all the different skaters and their development. And I don't have a car (plus, I'm in a summer research program in central NJ, which only adds more distance to get to the rink.) Looking forward to the reports!

It'd be nice if Liberty Open become considered as an ISU International B competition like some of the European summer competitions.

Aw...I have always wanted to go to this! It's a feasible competition in relation to where we live, so it could just be treated as a weekend trip. Unfortunately I don't think we'll be able to make it this year. I hope someone is able to post videos of this competition~!
I guess you're right, ISU would probably charge big bucks for tickets.
And I must confess I'm too lazyto look at the world standing and find which north american skaters could have turly benefited from having just a bit of extra points toward the chance of receiving a GPS invitation, maybe there is none.
