What happened to PB ?

If I were to guess I'd say that the low TES means that one of their step passes was deemed ineligible/incorrect. We knew they were gonna be strict about that and a five point difference in TES without a fall suggests that kind of error (invalid element).

Judging by the very low TES, PechBourzat must have made several mistakes. An invalid GW pattern or a big time screw on the twizzles maybe..

Zhiganshinga&Gazsi had the highest TES of the event but only 7th in PCs!!:sheesh:

As last year, the scores seem a bit inflated.

Yay for Kevin! Highest TES! Did he land a triple axel, or is it not necessary so early in the season in such a low profile competition? Who's the unknown Japanese guy? And disappointment for Brezina... Did he perhaps attempted a quad?

Machida may not be a mainstream name yet, but I wouldn't call him unknown. Like its been said,he has already an ISU championship medal (silver at 4CC last year) and he keeps improving and improving.

And 3Axel in the SP is vital if you want to do well in any men's competition whether its early season or not. Plus there are 9 guys there who have or will compete in the Grand Prix so it isnt exactly a very weak field... NOw the ladies field this year is a whole different story:disapp:

Ouch for Brezina:eek: and very good for the youngsters Alvarez & Streubel..

Kevin did 3A, 3Lz-3T, 3F all clean
Brezina 3F-3T clean, but only 2S and 1A

Ouch for Brezina; but yay for Kevin! That's great! I hope he'll do well in the LP as well!

Yeah, I remember their was a Japanese guy that won the silver name at 4CC whose name I couldn't remember. From now on I'll remember Machida (so many Japanese guys to look out for!).
