Just to give perspective for people not familiar with Japan, the legal drinking age is 20 (which Mao just turned) there, which is why they've been talking about drinking often this year (i.e. the Asadas are not alkies).
Nice to see her go into detail about how she's trying to improve her jumps and her spins. So often you hear skaters talking about redoing their technique but it's vague.
Mao is such an exciting skater. What she's doing now with her jumps and the risk she's taking is so intriguing.
