Nicole had a plea bargain. Truth is often the first casualty not only of war, but of plea bargains. Her elocution will reflect what activities were needed to justify both the charge and the sentence. NJ has mandoratory minimum sentences for some offenses and used to have even more of them. In other states, such mandatory minimum sentences often are triggered by the actual amount of drug either in the person's possession, or which they sold. Relying on Nicole's elocution for the exact amount sold is probably not warranted.
Someone from NJ, and/or who is knowledgeable in NJ law, could expand on this.
