Keepin' it real
Chen focuses on improvement
In sport, a young life can change at the drop of a hat. A winning touchdown pass can propel a quarterback from obscurity into the mainstream. An unexpected Olympic gold medal can transform an also-ran into an overnight sensation. We all love a good story of unexpected victory. Nathan Chen, an eleven year-old sixth grader from Salt Lake City, Utah, is one such story.
Gotta Have Music
What a nice article about Nathan! He's a charmer on the ice, and I hope he has lots of success in everything he does.
Nathan is an amazing little kid! It's so funny to think that he's just about to enter 6th grade in elementary school! And he's already accomplished so much in his short little life. But then, it seems to be a family of bright, ambitious over-achievers.
New exhibition piece by Nathan.
It was a show in the new ice rink in the city where I was born!
He's so cute.
I'm sure that we will be watching Nathan's progress; and discussing him, for years to come.
Here's some highlights of the Wi Wa show in China - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SwoKMyB8p0 Was there a thread about it I missed? It looks fabulous. Richard Dwyer must be in his 70's and still looks great. David Liu has done himself proud.
